The actual day's activity takes place between the two cities. At noon, the journey takes it towards the Palm Island. These luscious fish are one of the main reasons why this desert is considered to be the finest natural resort on Earth.
On the last day, we pick up our luggage and head towards Taif. At the Taif station, the desert gives way to the Atlas Mountains. We have to stay here for three nights and hence plan to go out for a walk in the morning. The walk is really an exhilarating experience and one can see the majestic mountains from here.
The journey ends at the Safer City, where we can enjoy delicious Arabic coffee and camel. The city is home to many hotels and resorts and hence you will not find it hard to find accommodation. The hotels in Dubai have modern amenities and facilities and hence you don't have to spend much time and money in finding accommodation. Thus, a visit to the desert makes this trip all the more worthwhile.
